“Old School” Oliver John on SLAM!

Pro Wrestling Revolution wrestler “Old School” Oliver John was featured in a story for SLAM! Wrestling. It is very well written and excited to see it is now out for the public to read and learn a little bit more of this talented athlete. We want to thank Greg Oliver for allowing us to be part of his write up and glad we were able to help.

Many times in life and even more in professional wrestling, people are over looked and miss out on all the great abilities and what that person can bring to the table. Oliver John is somebody that can hit the ground running and we are very grateful to have him in our company, but something tells me, that wont be for much longer.

“I was a competitive powerlifter as a teenager. I had a Road Warriors shirt on at the gym, and he was coming out, he was leaving the gym and I was getting done with the meet. He said, ‘Hey, I know those guys on your shirt.'” They started talking, and it grew in a few years to a true friendship. “Finally, in ’94, we opened up a school together. That’s when I formally started training in a ring.”

Long Day of Reality

The long day of tv taping for the reality show XS4Play has come and gone and it was an experience that none of us will soon forget. It was great meeting the cast of the show, well, most of them. They came into the show having their own ideas of what Pro Wrestling was all about, but I can guarantee you that after the day was over, Pro Wrestling Revolution and ChickFight made sure they went home knowing the reality of our industry!

Thank you to all who came out to take part and made this a success!

Results – Tour of Portugal

Pro Wrestling Revolution in Portugal

Pro Wrestling Revolution is home. After all the hard work to make the tour of Portugal take place, it is now come and gone. Many fans made and definite a great impression to those who came out. Like all tours you have your up and downs but the shows were a success and the promoters in Portugal are talking about a return sometime late in 2008 or early 2009.

With that in mind, it is back to work and try to learn from our mistakes and learn from what worked and try to make the next possible tour even bigger and better. This is definitely not an easy task at all. The pressure to make things like this happen are by far is very big but more than worth while when it is all said and done. Seeing the swarm of kids running up to the wrestlers and asking for autographs as they walked the streets of Portugal set the mood for the tour. One of the major highlights  was when the Vice President and President of Valencia attended the last show.

“This was a great group of guys to work with and happy to have worked and met these guys. Oliver John is a great worker, he needs to be signed” says Balls Mahoney

Revolution… Reality TV?

Pro Wrestling Revolution, LLC is very excited about our newest venture that takes us to the world of Reality TV. Yes, television. We have come to an agreement with Nappic Communications to take part in their newest project of reality television. We don’t want to give out too many details but this a great opportunity for everybody. We will be doing this in partnership with another pro wrestling company, ChickFight. The things that can take place are endless, so look out reality tv, just may have some new stars in the making.

“I am looking forward to working with such great people and thankful for the opportunity to promote pro wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, and Pro Wrestling Revolution. We look forward to seeing the end result and hope that we can be of help in the success of this project” says Gabriel Ramirez, owner of Pro Wrestling Revolution, LLC.

Nappic Communications’ list of companies that they have worked with is very grand, companies like Budweiser, Motorola, Nyquil, Southwest and many more. To be even mentioned in the same breath as these companies is great to say the least.

Pro Wrestling Revolution hits the stands… in Japan

Pro Wrestling Revolution has hit the stands… in Japan. The magazine covered the Cauliflower Alley Club convention that was held in Las Vegas this past June that included our first show at the Riviera Hotel & Casino.

“We are thankful to have been given the opportunity to take part in such a great event that featured so many talented wrestlers from all over the world.” says Gabriel Ramirez, owner of Pro Wrestling Revolution LLC.

It is obvious that Go SHIOZAKI and our very own “Old School” Oliver John are featured and deservingly so, as their fight was by far a great match, good enough to get a standing ovation from all in attendance.
