So much work into making LuchaMania become what we wanted it to be for the city of Santa Maria. There were live radio interviews from Sunny Country and Fox radio with Jon Andersen, live Radio & Television interviews on El Compa and Telemundo with El Hijo de Rey Miserio, Vaquero Fantasma and Rockero del Dibalo… all bringing us to LuchaMania.

A packed house of over 1500 fans came to see the cage match that was promised, but little did they know, they would end up with two! We crowned new tag team champions in the Border Patrol and Blue Demon Jr. successfully defended the NWA World Heavyweight Title over Oliver John from the Border Patrol.

“Strongman” Jon Andersen was a guest on radio station, 99.1 The Fox, and talked about Pro Wrestling Revolution’s appearance this Friday night at the Santa Maria Fairpark. We wanted to share a small piece of the interview with our fans. This was an interesting interview as it showed a side of the “Strongman” we have heard before.

Jon Andersen takes on Rik Luxury in a match that we are sure Rik is not looking forward to but we can bet the fans of Santa Maria surely are.

We hope to see all our fans come out and take part of our biggest show to date in Santa Maria!

NWA Wrestling Showcase – Episode 8

The National Wrestling Alliance® was founded in 1948 and is the worlds oldest and largest pro wrestling sanctioning body. Many of today’s legends and top stars are all products of the NWA™.

Results & Images – San Francisco 06.06.09

San Francisco was eagerly awaiting the arrival of Blue Demon Jr. and many were ready to see the match up with “Border Patrol’s” Oliver John. What nobody expected was multiple Blue Demon Jr matches with Oliver John.  The show opened with Oliver John pinning Blue Demon Jr. and winning the NWA World Title, but later turned out it was not the real Blue Demon Jr. nor the real NWA World Tittle.

Pro Wrestling Revolution… Television?

Pro Wrestling Revolution and Azteca America San Francisco combined this past January to bring you, El Sabor de la Noche. The host of the show is Karina Garcia and they spoke to fans, luchadores and a little bit of evnerything. The show has lucha Pro Wrestling Revolution and music videos all in one show.

Make sure you tune in and watch their show. We will have a new edition is the weeks to come. We want to thank Karina and Helder for all their work and efforts to making this a continued success.

After every show you look back to see if what you wanted to accomplished was reached.. and after this show, we feel that was a big part of what made us feel good about the show. Seeing all the kids, parents and staff of all different schools was great.

We are thankful to Leticia Villa Gascon for all her hard work, we are so proud to have her  as a friend and thankful for allowing us to do this with her. All of the help from the boosters, parents, the Latino Student Union was so appreciated. We do want to specially thank the “Dad’s Club”, for everything you did.

Results & Images – Las Vegas 04.13.09

Las Vegas states that what happens in Las Vegas stays… but one thing for sure is that the NWA Heritage Title did not stay in Las Vegas with former champion Ryan Taylor.

Pro Wrestling Revolution’s Heavyweight Champion Oliver John, defeated Ryan Taylor, Chris Hero and Steve Anthony in a 4-Way Elimination match as the main event that took place in at the Gold Coast Casino in front of an audience that included, Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkel, Trevor Murdoch, Karl Lauer, and Superstar Billy Graham.

Pro Wrestling Revolution is honored to have been able to be a part of this and we look forward to returning next year. We met many new friends, old ones and learned so much from the people who paved the way for all of us in today’s industry.

DVD Now Available – Reinforcement!

Pro Wrestling Revolution closed the year out where it all started, in San Jose, California. With so many events taking place in the area and the weather making it hard to want to go out and drive, 700 fans came out and showed their support and enjoyed a great night of entreatment… from pro wrestling to lucha libre, it was a great night of action.

The show had a little bit of everything, traditional american wrestling, female wrestling, mini’s, continued feud of Los Misterios and the Border Patrol and the crowning of our inaugural champion, Border Patrol’s Oliver John.

Thank you San Jose and we will see you in 2009! ¡Viva la Revolución!

We have come full circle in Santa Maria… in the sense that we were able to change with the times and the situations from the last time we were there. We are thankful to have had a little over thousand fans there and we are ready for the event. We have made some decisions at this event that have changed things a little bit.

We have made many new friends and look for them to have an impact on our presence in Santa Maria on June 26th at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
