Pro Wrestling Revolution heads back to Watsonville for the Santa Cruz County Fair on Sunday September 19th, 2010. This is out second consecutive year and we are looking forward to this night. The crowd of nearly 2,000 people taking in the show is an experience we are so thankful for.

We are excited to have our Pro Wrestling Revolution Woman’s’ Title back in the United States, as our champion, Princesa Sugey makes her way from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to take on, former TNA Knockout, Alissa Flash, who is representing ChickFight.

Alissa Flash came up short in her attempt at becoming the first Pro Wrestling Revolution Woman’s Champion when she lost to Lady Apache in San Francisco on January 30th.

We encourage all fans to come out and enjoy a day at the Fair and then an exciting evening with Pro Wrestling Revolution. The show is free with your paid fair admission!

As I’m standing in the back second before getting my name called out and my music played and I make my debut in my home town,  I get flashbacks from the 1st day of training. Remember walking into a warehouse and thinking to myself “what did I get myself into?” I took a chance and I believe in my trainers, and in Gabe.  So I take a few steps closer and I start to do some push-ups with a big smile on my face, knowing that I’m just second away from realizing my dream. As I open the drapes and see all the fans I get the chills, I start to remember as I kid how I looked up to the luchadores as my super heroes and now after all the sacrifice and time I have become that super hero.

I take a few steps to the left and start slapping the fans hands something comes in me and I start to dance.  I dance for a few seconds and continue my path to the ring.  As I’m walking I spot my family, I walk to them. Having another mask on my waist, I give my little brother a hug and then I put on him my original mask.  As I finally get into the ring that’s where the whole magic happens and I can’t say I truly remember it something came about me and just took over.

Pro Wrestling Revolution had a few familiar faces take part in WWE’s SMACKDOWN!  Pro Wrestling Revolution current one half -Tag Team Champion Derek Sanders, and former Tag Team Champion “El Amante”, all took part in a match versus WWE’s Big Show.

It is always exciting to see new faces get an opportunity on television, and thankfully to WWE’s continued support of local talent when they arrive in town.

Derek Sanders is one of our Head Trainers at our Pro Wrestling Revolution Training School, and we know all his students are excited for him! We look forward to WWE’s return and hope to have an opportunity to take part again.

I knew the moment I talked to owner of Pro Wrestling Revolution, Gabriel Ramirez, that I had stumbled across something really cool. He invited me down to their pro training class and I soon realized that they offer the best training and also the lowest pricing to match it. For a few years, I have been looking for a pro wrestling school close by to me that allows me to work around my work schedule. I can’t ask for anymore! I regret not knowing Pro Wrestling Revolution existed much earlier.

We are really fortunate to have experienced trainers in Kafu and Derek Sanders, who make sure we are right on top of basic fundamentals, bumps and holds. If you’re not in good cardio shape, you’re going to be! The training is really thorough and if you’re not doing or trying your best, you’re likely going to be body slammed into the mat by Kafu.

Having been at and working (as security) the last Pro Wrestling Revolution wrestling show on July 31, where we had almost 1000 attend, I realized that I had made one of the biggest discoveries of my life!

What is next for “El Patron”?

The pro wrestling world has witnessed this before. A man becomes overwhelmingly powerful in what seems to be overnight, regardless if it’s what a majority of us would like to see. But easy come, easy go. And this is exactly what happened in the case of ‘El Patron’ Oliver John.

On July 23rd, 2010, in Mexico City, Mexico at the Lucha Libre Experienca, Oliver John came face to face once again with his biggest rival, Blue Demon Jr. After a chase that lasted nearly two years, Blue Demon Jr. was finally victorious in becoming the Pro Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion, beginning the downfall of ‘El Patron’.

In Watsonville, California on July 31st, in front of just about 1,000 Pro Wrestling Revolution fans, Oliver John took on Atsushi Sawada, with the NWA Heritage Championship on the line. And once again, winning was not in the cards for Oliver John.  While the members of the Border Patrol, Derek Sanders and Bryan Cage, came to the ring to comfort John, he repaid Cage by stripping him of his title. Why? To become one half of the Pro Wrestling Revolution Tag Team Championship himself.

Where will this selfishness lead ‘El Patron’? When the ones closest to him can’t even trust him, where will he turn? What is next for the many hated by many across the nation? Across the world? Will he be able to rebuild? These may be questions ‘El Patron’ Oliver John is asking himself.
